Teak & Hardwood Care Oil
A high-yield, brushable protective wood coating based on natural oils for untreated hardwood, tropical woods, and softwoods, suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The easily spreadable oil does not form a surface layer but penetrates into the wood, coating the pores. It repels water and dirt, reduces greying, swelling, and shrinking, minimizes cracking and drying, and provides a natural, semi-matte color refresh. Treated surfaces are easy to maintain and resistant to staining liquids, environmental influences, and UV exposure.
Features:
-
Water- and dirt-repellent
-
Reduces cracking and drying
-
Ideal for garden furniture, privacy screens, and terraces
-
Coverage: approx. 10–22 m² / 1 liter
Applications:
Untreated hardwood, tropical, softwoods, and exotic woods, such as teak, eucalyptus, thermally treated wood, pressure-treated pine, Douglas fir, Bangkirai, cedar, oak, larch, robinia, and more. Ideal for wooden decks, terraces, garden furniture, privacy screens, planters, palisades, sheds, carports, fences, furniture, doors, wall paneling, and more.

Instructions for Use:
Wood with high resin or natural content should weather for at least 6 weeks before first treatment. Newly pressure-treated wood should weather for at least 3 months. Old paint or lacquer coatings must be completely removed. The surface must be dry, clean, absorbent, sound, and free from grease, oil, and wax (max. wood moisture 20%, minimum temperature 10 °C). Shake well before use. Apply undiluted with a firm brush or lint-free cloth in the direction of the grain. Remove excess material after approx. 15 minutes with a cloth. Allow to dry for about 12 hours under good ventilation. For highly absorbent or heavily used surfaces, a second coat may be applied. Full hardness is achieved after approx. one week.
