3M Edge Sealer for Anti-Slip Flooring
For optimal installation of anti-slip flooring, the edges should be protected with an edge sealer or full-surface coating. Edge sealing is particularly important when the material is exposed to prolonged or intense contact with water, oils, chemicals, or other liquids.
The edge sealer is applied as a rounded bead along the perimeter so that (from a top view) at least 2–3 mm of the anti-slip surface is covered, the edges are fully enclosed, and approximately 1–2 mm of the substrate is coated.
Important: The anti-slip flooring is not immediately walkable after edge sealing!
