How does the AntiSlide process work?

AntiSlide A 400 is a liquid treatment material that interacts with the quartz and silicates in the surface. Microscopic U-shaped pores are created. The negative pressure generated when walking on the surface produces a suction-cup effect.

Instructions for Use of AntiSlide A 400

Preparation:

• Clean the surface to be treated for slip resistance. Then dry the surface.
• Dissolve the included neutralizer in a bucket of water.
• The treatment area should be a maximum of 20 m². Divide larger areas into individual sections.       

Application:

• Pour undiluted AntiSlide A 400 into a container, dip a flat mop into it, and apply the material quickly and evenly to the floor.
• Keep the floor moist with AntiSlide A 400 for 5–20 minutes.
• After the time has elapsed, rinse the floor with the provided neutralizer.
• Remove the neutralizer using a wet vacuum and clean the floor with a damp wipe / alternatively, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
• The floor is now slip-resistant and can be used as usual.

Notes:

• Please read the enclosed instructions for use carefully before applying the anti-slip treatment.
• The strong anti-slip treatment may cause color lightening on dark floors. This should be tested in an inconspicuous area first.
