STOP it Anti-Slip Coating

STOP it is a transparent, glossy anti-slip coating that can be applied to almost any surface. It reliably improves slip resistance in wet and dry areas while preserving the original appearance of the surface. Each STOP it kit contains everything you need to make 2 m², 10 m² or 20 m² permanently slip-resistant.

Typical Applications

In wet areas such as showers and bathtubs, the risk of slipping is significantly increased. Thanks to its transparent anti-slip coating, STOP it makes these surfaces safer without compromising aesthetics or hygiene.
Unlike anti-slip mats, dirt and bacteria cannot accumulate underneath the coating, and there is no risk of the mat slipping or coming loose.

                        

                    

STOP it is also ideal for tiles or wooden stairs that are already slippery when dry. Even pets regain confidence and grip on stairs treated with STOP it.

Important note:
Outdoor areas and permanently wet surfaces made of wood, stone or tiles must be pre-treated with our primer before applying STOP it.

Application Instructions (Example: Shower Tray)

STOP it is easy to apply yourself with minimal effort. Alternatively, you can use our professional installation service and have your slippery surface coated by our trained specialists.

                    

Surface preparation:

First, clean and degrease the surface thoroughly. For heavy soiling, we recommend using our A 025 deep cleaner. The 2 m² complete kit already includes a degreaser and cleaning cloth.
Once the surface is completely dry, mask off edges and adjacent areas to ensure a clean finish. Decorative masking patterns such as stripes or grids are also possible. During curing, make sure no water drips from taps or shower heads onto the surface.

                    

Application:

Mix the hardener thoroughly with the textured coating in the paint tray using the spatula provided.
Tip: Remove lint from the roller using adhesive tape before application.
Load the roller evenly and apply the coating thinly using a cross-coat method: first front to back, then left to right.
Once the entire surface is coated, remove the masking tape immediately.

Drying time:

The STOP it anti-slip coating is dust-dry after approximately 4 hours. During this time, small particles such as hair or dust can be carefully removed using tweezers.
After 12 hours, the surface can be safely used again, for example for showering.
